Teen Leadership Certification

This program teaches girls to build trust and confidence, develop new communication skills and increase self-awareness. The girls will experience first-hand, how to build strong bonds with other girls. Each day we will have new and exciting exercises that will have you working through obstacles and problem-solving exercises. Girls will learn that other girls should be perceived as part of their supportive community. Collaborative, team-building exercises, learning to encourage and support one another and improved communication skills are a focus of this camp. By promoting learning, and self-discovery in a unique approach will create life-long lessons for your daughter.

Our program creates experiences to inspire girls to reach their full potential and provide the leadership skills to help them overcome challenges to cope with the pressures they face today and in the years ahead. Girls are encouraged to be creative and innovative, accept responsibility and be accountable. Through effective communication, girls recognize the value of mutual trust, respect, and personal integrity to help guide them in their everyday lives. The end result is that girls discover ways to overcome barriers and achieve objectives while developing self-awareness and solid relationships.

This is NOT actually a camp!

This is a personal development program designed specifically for girls.

Our program's essence comes from the desire to teach girls the framework for success and happiness to start off right! Each segment of the day incorporates strategies from NLP, CBT, DBT, and the best minds in psychology - like Tony Robbins, Byron Katie, Brene Brown, and Abraham Hicks - just to name a few! Our programs are not intended to be fun and easy. We will push, challenge, and stretch girls to discover their strengths, and face their fears. Some of our activities are designed to have them struggle, get stuck, and maybe even fail. Experiential learning is the basis of everything we do. It's designing a controlled environment for learning by experience and guiding reflecting for understanding. Bringing a group of girls together, and getting them out of their comfort zones isn't always smooth sailing (especially on day 2!), but by the end of the week, these girls are genuinely proud of themselves, with new skills, tools, and solid support system of friends! Imagine what the world would be like if all girls had the chance to discover these skills!

Teen Leadership Includes 2 Separate Parts:

Part 1: Teen Leadership Training Week.

Girls will have a 3 day program specifically designed for their age group which lays the foundation for leadership skills and teamwork. Their week will include experiential learning, coaching, and talks about real-life girl stuff. Girls will also be given skills to take a leadership role (that fits with where they're at) for their LIT week at camp.

Part 2: Your Leader-In-Training (LIT) Week.

Girls choose a week of camp that most interests them. LIT's will be expected to welcome campers, help campers, engage in activities, and support the instructors with activity setup. Each camper will be stretched to grow. Each LIT will have their own task/skill based on how they want to step up. LIT's can expect to take in the information being presented during camp, plus receive breakout sessions with the camp director to further understand and integrate their leadership training.

If campers would like to attend more camps, they are more than welcome to come back for additional weeks. Each week they return, they will be stretched to grow further and take on a bit more responsibility. This is a great way to have teens get experience, learn skills, and build their resume.

A Typical Day at Radiant Girls

Every day has a special theme, leadership skills, life skills and relationship skills built into each segment of the day. These important lessons are carefully interwoven into all of our activities, making learning both fun and experiential.

10:00 Morning Movement - Pilates, Self Defense, Paddle Boarding or Forest Trek

11:00 Personal Growth Games/Activity with Guest Speaker & Coaching Debrief

We will have inspiring special guests join us each week. They are typically women with an inspiring story, professionals in their field of expertise, and teach a skill and its value to our campers. Guests include Olympic Athletes, Authors, Acting and Improv Teachers, Nutritionists, Holistic Aesthicians, Self Defence Instructors, Mindfulness Teachers, Trades Professionals, Musicians, Entrepreneurs, Teen Influencers, Art Professionals, and more!
