The admissions process at St. George’s was very transparent and straightforward. There were no blurry lines, and if I ever had a question, I could just email and ask. Unlike other schools I applied to, where I often felt unsure about the process, St. George’s was very supportive. Nobody kept us waiting, and everybody made an effort to acknowledge that this process can be overwhelming. They encouraged questions and were there to support us throughout.

The ideal scenario is that you have the largest overlapping Venn diagram of you and your child and the school, so essentially fit. I don't see it as a competition between schools. I've been working hard to not be in competition with any of my amazing schools nearby us. They're just doing incredible things, and so are we. I think fit is the best thing you can give your child.

I came to St. George's in Grade 1. A large part of the interview process for me was a group assessment with other students, and my ability to socialize and interact with them. The most important piece of advice I would give to an incoming student is to take advantage of each opportunity that comes to them. St. George's is a place where there are countless opportunities for each student and mini-communities within the larger student body. Each student is able to find their own place at Saints.

The admissions process at St. George’s felt surprisingly smooth and well-structured, though I remember feeling quite nervous at the time. It included both a group and personal interview, which initially felt intimidating. I spent a lot of time stressing over these interviews but looking back, they were simply a way for the school to get to know us better—as individuals and as learners. St. George’s wanted to understand how we’d fit into the community and what unique qualities we’d bring. If I could advise someone applying, I’d say to relax and just be yourself. The admissions team genuinely wants to see who you are, so take a deep breath, trust yourself, and enjoy the process.
