This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Creativity: Defying Gravity Camp nurtures creativity by having students develop characters, learn music, dance, and performance techniques, and create sets and props. This allows them to express themselves through acting, movement, and design, while working collaboratively to bring their unique ideas to life!
Courage: Wicked camp builds courage by encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones in a supportive environment that fosters curiosity. Studengts learn to take creative risks, build confidence, and take on a story about being yourself and standing up for what is right!

Join us for a fun-filled week of creativity, collaboration, and performance at our exciting summer camp! Students will spend the week with their castmates, auditioning, rehearsing, and preparing for a special performance. Each day is packed with activities including music, drama, dance, set and prop crafting, and acting games to inspire imagination and teamwork.

Throughout the week, students will explore the process of auditioning, blocking and staging, learning choreography, and perfecting their songs. They’ll also gain valuable experience in preparing for a dress rehearsal and show, all while building confidence, having fun, and making lifelong friendships.

At the end of the week, students will showcase their hard work in a 20-30 minute performance for family and friends. It’s the perfect way to celebrate their accomplishments and creativity!

With a different theme each week, students can return for multiple sessions to experience new shows, meet new casts, and work with different instructors, ensuring a fresh and exciting experience every time.
