This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Independence: Through youth-led programming, Scouts plan and lead their own activities. By taking initiative to tackle new challenges, Scouts embark on exciting adventures that put their problem-solving into play, while taking their leadership skills, confidence and resiliency to a new level.
Generosity: Leading a variety of fun adventures with friends, Scouts discover what they’re capable of and how it connects with the communities in which they live. From supporting friends to building their communities or conserving the planet, Scouts understand we belong to a greater cause.

This year, families can sign up for our Day Camp program for youth aged 5-12. Our daily activities include arts and crafts, outdoor skills (e.g., fire building, shelter building, hiking, knot tying, orienteering, etc.) as well as outdoor adventure skills (e.g., archery, low ropes challenges, etc.)

They are placed in groups according to their ages and supervised by trained leaders. Our daily program is well balanced. The activities are selected to teach outdoor skills, foster self-confidence, respect for others and the environment, promote teamwork, and be fun! Each activity is age appropriate and takes into consideration the skill levels of the participants
