Here’s a brief look at what kids learn in after-school writing classes. Consult each program above for accurate details of what they learn there.
Creative writing. Creative writing classes help curious students exercise their imaginations. Children will learn to write short stories, poems, flash fiction, creative essays, and more in class. Writing process. The writing process consists of brainstorming, drafting, and editing. As they progress through this process in a creative writing class, children internalize a routine they adapt to their learning style.
