This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Independence: Campers have the opportunity to make choices as to how they spend their day - choosing their instruction activities, how they spend their free swim and whether or not they go on a canoe trip.
Courage: Campers are encouraged to try new skills, to set out on a canoe trip, even if they have never such an experience before.

This session takes place at the start of each 26-day session. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in two full weeks of instructional activities and also to go on a 3-day, 5-day or 7-day canoe trip depending on their age and experience.
